Having achieved great success with our pilot site (see Lanzarote Breaks), España Breaks marked our expansion to further destinations in Spain. Since we already covered the Canary Islands, it seemed logical to complete the set and cover Spanish villas and apartments across the mainland and Balearic Islands.

New Challenges

The original business model and system was retained. The biggest challenge was in finding a way to organise larger numbers of properties in a variety of locations. This inevitably led to some refinements to the page design and navigation that provides better ways for visitors to browse and find perfect holiday villas in Spain. With scores of destinations available, all are easily found within two mouse clicks – a design win!

Achievements

The website has now become our main, and most trafficked, holiday villas portal with over 1400 adverts online and around 50,000 visitors each month. In 2007 we generated over 25,000 e-mail enquiries for our advertisers.
